Hotspot Workhub is located in Bucharest, Romania in the vicinity of the North Railway Station, positioned opposite the Marconi Cinema, near the Buzești tram station in the “The Mark: Tower Building”. The hub is spread over the entire 2000sqm of the first floor, at a height of approximately seven meters. The business concept thrives offering coworking spaces that stand out for their flexibility, speed and efficiency it can bring to businesses. The arrangement had in mind to create high-end offices for agile companies looking for flexibility in time and space. The large conference room can be rearranged according to the needs of the day’s events thanks to the movable walls that allow a separation into two, three or five rooms resulting in spaces for distinct activities.
Developed by REC Partners is expressed architecturally through a series of high, open spaces, separated by glass walls. The same glass walls create a succession of parallel spaces that starts from the inner, public areas, crosses meeting rooms and open office spaces, to finally melt in the space of the surrounding cityscape – an active element of the project thanks to the curtain wall envelope of the building. Double-height rooms take advantage of the skylights to create a series of original, suspended ‘rooms in rooms’ dedicated to meetings and team work. The public areas communicate directly with the building’s lobby. The result is a powerful sequence of successive spaces, united together under the light in an articulated whole.
